Canada power to victory over Tonga.
29/10/2003

A fine second half performance carried Canada to a convincing victory over Tonga.

Leading by just two points at the interval, thanks to three penalties from fly half Bob Ross, and facing a strong wind in the second half, the Canadians scored fifteen second half points without reply, with Sean Fauth and Aaron Abrams both crossing for tries, James Pritchard adding a conversion, and Ross kicking another penalty.

The Tongans had scored the only try of the first half,  through skipper Inoke Afeaki, with Pierre Hola adding the conversion.

But the gloss was taken off the Canadian victory when their captain, and giant lock, Al Charron, was carried off on a stretcher after a heavy tackle by Hola. It was Charron's final Test Match before retiring.

Tune in now for full time highlights and post match reactions from both sides.
