England beat Georgia by 84-points to 6 in Perth.

England confirmed their status as one of the pre-tournament favourites, running in 12 tries as they overwhelmed World Cup debutants Georgia by 84 points to 6. At least the Georgians scored two penalties through Malkhaz Urjukashvili and Paliko Jimsheladze. 

The English tries came from Ben Cohen and Will Greenwood, with two each, Mike Tindall, Matt Dawson, Steve Thompson, Neil Back, Lawrence Dallaglio, Mark Regan, Jason Robinson and Dan Luger. Jonny Wilkinson was immaculate as ever with the boot, slotting five conversions and two penalties, before handing over the kicking duties to Paul Grayson who landed 4 conversions.
