First win for Argentina

Argentina scored ten tries on the way to a convincing victory over the 1000-to-1 outsiders Namibia at Gosford.

The Pumas bounced back from an opening defeat by hosts Australia and recorded their first win of the tournament, although Namibia did manage two tries of their own.
