Adelaide Airport is serviced by direct flights from five host cities of Rugby World Cup 2003 with Melbourne just over an hour away, Canberra and Sydney under two hours and Brisbane and Perth around three hours.

There are direct trains into Adelaide Station from Melbourne, Sydney and Perth with journey times of 12, 25 and 38 hours respectively. To travel from Canberra, Brisbane, Gosford or Wollongong simply change at Sydney.

To drive to Adelaide will take 10 hours from Melbourne, between 15 and 20 hours from Canberra and Sydney, around 35 hours to Perth and Brisbane and some 47 hours to Townsville.
