The final outcome of Pool C will draw largely on results in Western Australia where South Africa, England, Uruguay, Georgia and Samoa will compete over five matches from 11 – 19 October for two spots in the quarter final stage.

The picturesque Swan Valley, 20 minutes from Perth, combines art, food and wine to divert even the most entrenched Rugby attentions over the weekends of 12 - 13 October and 19 - 20 October, celebrating rolling green vineyards, wineries, boutique restaurants and art galleries at Spring in the Valley.

A French version of Romeo and Juliette by the West Australian Symphony Orchestra at the Perth Concert Hall on 10 - 11 October will excite some passions before South Africa play Uruguay on 11 October and England meet Georgia on October 12.

Those on the streets after Samoa and Uruguay play on 15 October and the game of the Pool between South Africa and England on 18 October can enjoy Street Music in Subiaco from 16 - 18 October.

Anglers could find solace in the catch or triumph in release at the Fremantle Fishing Festival on 19 October in the wake of the South Africa v England result. The traditional Blessing of the Fleet brings a party atmosphere to Fremantle’s Adelaide Street from 14:00.

Foodies are also catered for at the Taste of the Nation day on 19 October of the footpaths of the Fremantle CBD.

When the Rugby World Cup caravan moves to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for the finals stages, those remaining in Perth can enjoy Vivaldi’s Four Seasons on 31 October.

In November Blues lovers can look forward to the picturesque south west town of Bridgetown, where the bitter sweet tunes will be a feature of the longest and largest Street Party in Western Australia.

The Margaret River Wine Region is the focus of a 10 day food and wine Festival from 8 - 17 November, featuring award winning Margaret River wines, local produce, mellow music, art exhibitions, street parties and events at more than 70 venues in the region.
