What the coaches and captains had to say after the Pool C clash between Samoa and Georgia.
John Boe(SAM) - coach
On the Samoan performance:
"Yes we scored some good tries, but there was a fantastic battle in the forwards and they had great defence, but it was good we came away with the win."
On Brian Lima equalling the record for most consecutive Rugby World Cup matches played (14):
"It's been wonderful for 'Pala' because a couple of days ago his wife gave birth to their son. It's been a great occasion for him and the team."
On being top of Pool C after gaining bonus points from both their matches:
"Stop the Tournament now!"
Semo Sititi (SAM) - captain
On his team's performance:
"Of course we're happy, but we're not satisfied. We made a lot of mistakes.
"We proved that we are not here to make up the numbers, we are here to compete."
On being physically and mentally prepared for the coming matches with South Africa and England:
"Well that's what we talked about since we've come together. We take it step by step. Georgia and Uruguay are gone now. The preparation for the whole week will aim for England.
"Of course they are a tough team, the number one ranked in the world, but if we have the belief and faith in ourselves we can do it."
Claude Saurel (GEO) - coach
On the Georgian performance:
"Yes we made some mistakes. The Samoan team was very good and we made too many mistakes."
On whether he was disappointed by the defeat:
"We expected to give a better performance so we are more than disappointed. I know that my team are able to do better than they did.
"I do think that we could have competed against the Samoan team even though we knew they were going to win. I am disappointed the team didn't compete better."
Ilia Zedginidze (GEO) - captain
On whether the backs let the forwards down:
"In rugby there are no backs and forwards. It's collective and it's not whether the backs did well or whether the forwards did well it's the whole team."
On his first Rugby World Cup match:
"It was a really amazing feeling for me. Personally I thought it was really wonderful with all the crowd cheering Georgia, Georgia. It was wonderful and I thank them very much."
On Georgia playing strong sides:
"I think after this World Cup we will be much better than before the World Cup. I think the more games we play, the more we will progress, the more experience we will collect."
