Romania captain Romeo Gontineac

On the win:

"I'm the happiest captain tonight. I'm very pleased with the result."

On playing in Tasmania:

"From the first day we arrived it's felt like home, with all the presents and special care from the people of Tasmania."

On how the team will celebrate the win:

"We'll celebrate the first half because we played very well but especially the second half where we played good rugby."

Romania coach Bernard Charreyre

On the result:

"I'm very happy with the Romanian players. We finished the World Cup in 14th place and scored five tries. I would like to thank the Romanian players."

Namibian captain Sean Furter

On backing up after the teams heavy loss to Australia:

"It was really tough, especially mentally. To get the guys together was tough, but we did it, we played good."

On whether he was proud of the team:

"I wouldn't say proud, I'd say satisfied. Some things just didn't work so well for us."

On the support for the Namibian team:

"The support (for Namibia) has been fantastic. To the Australian guys and the Tasmanian guys, thank you so much."
