Wallabies coach Eddie Jones has made two changes to his starting team for Australia’s quarter final against Scotland on Saturday.
Centre Stirling Mortlock and wing Lote Tuqiri are the new members of the side who come in at the expense of Matt Burke and Joe Roff.
"This is what I have been aiming for and to get a start ahead of someone like Roffy is a great compliment," Tuqiri told AAP. "I have to repay that with a big performance this week."
Burke drops out of the 22 man squad, while Roff moves back to the bench. The decision will also mean that for the first time, rugby league converts Tuqiri, Wendell Sailor and Mat Rogers and will make up the back three.
The only other change to the 22 man team from the one that played Ireland sees lock Justin Harrison replace South African born Dan Vickerman on the bench.
