Veteran Samoan centre Brian Lima will play in his fourth Rugby World Cup after being named in the Samoan squad which was handpicked from around the globe.
Lima, who first played in the 1991 Rugby World Cup, will be a valuable member of the Samoan side which has a reputation for giant killing. Captain for the side will be number 8 Semo Setiti, who is currently playing for Scottish Celtic League side Borders.
Wellington Hurricanes wing Lome Fa’atau, whose tattooed thighs make him one of rugby’s most recognisable players, has also been named and will look to form a potent combination with Lima in the backline.
The Samoan will face a tough task to proceed through the Pool C, as they have been grouped with England, South Africa, Georgia and Uruguay.
